Description
Long Gong welcomes Bruno Coviello for a live performance on Tuesday, July 15. Bruno has prepared a special set to actualize the specific potential of the post-gong atmosphere. Expect a full-blown ascent into cinematic textures, psychedelic architecture, suspending the space-time continuum through synthesizer driven ecstasy, grounding our cognition in true classic and nostalgic elements, and passage through the empty fields for ultimate acoustic reflection. Blindfolds may be advised for the proper experience.
Sphente begins the evening with the signature electro-acoustic, amplified gong session, feeding the full-spectrum waveform into the club system for mind-body-spirit alignment and sensory synchronization.
The sound system is delivering peak performance like never before, fresh off of a comprehensive electrical overhaul to minimize distortion, maximize resonance, frequency clarity and micro/macro transient impact. This will be the deepest hitting Long Gong to date full stop. As always, expect nothing... but prepare yourself.
Long Gong operates on a “pay what you can, if you can” basis. Donations are appreciated and directly support the artists, and help cover production expenses. But there is no expectation to contribute if you are not in a position to do so. Your presence is valued more than money.
You can bring mats, pillow, blanket, or whatever makes you comfortable if you wish, or just flow. There are a few mats available in house, first come first serve. People who do bring a mat or a cushion tend to be the most content for long durations.
Although volume is kept at lower levels relative to club nights, it is still recommended to bring earplugs in case you may need them, particularly if positioning yourself close to subwoofers.
Please do not use your phones on or around the dance floor, and please do not take photo or video anywhere in the space during the event.
