San Antonio College, Bruce Rogers, Director) and Pacific Standard Time (Cal State Long Beach, Christine Guter, Director). These experiences brought her to prestigious stages such as the Monterey Jazz Festival, studio recording projects, and earned her two DownBeat Magazine Outstanding Soloist Awards. Over the last 15 years, Lia has become a familiar and sought-after presence in top jazz venues across Los Angeles, Orange County, and the Inland Empire. She has worked alongside both the region’s rising jazz talents and revered legends—including Arturo Sandoval, Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, Tony Guerrero, and Crystal Lewis.
