Damien The Architect - "dead homiez" album release show - Live in Concert with Special Guests: Christian Angelo, King Kaleb, Chico The Bear, The Vortex
East Denver Artist and Producer, damien the architect, is looking to make a wave in the Denver and rap industry as a whole. Active since 2013, Damien’s released over 25 musical projects and amassed more than two million streams across all platforms. He's performed alongside the likes of DNA Picasso, 100packsavy, and Trayce Chapman. After signing to the biggest independent label in America, Empire, (who have signed the likes of Shaboozey, Larry June, Young Dolph, and were distributors for Kendrick Lamar’s Section 80 tape.) he disappeared at the height of his career. Years of soul searching led him quite literally to the Himalayas where he met a spiritual teacher who asked him to return and share music with the world. He wishes this was a fable, but family, friends, and peers were able to witness this fairytale of a journey. Now he's back after his epic adventure to reclaim the throne as the greatest rapper to ever come from Denver. But now there's inspiration instead of ambition. Purpose instead of pride. His return is paired with a new initiative, #myartisworthsum, that stresses the value of the projects and work of all artists and creators across all genres in a time where artists are getting less than pennies on the dollar for their creations. He’s here to carry the torch from all those who came before him to lead the next generation of musicians to new heights.

The Black Buzzard at Oskar Blues Denver is a music venue born out of a drink and a conversation about the old Denver music scene. Created by Kellner Schoenke at their Longmont restaurant, The Black Buzzard drink fused bacon-infused bourbon and ten fidy imperial stout. Chef and Oskar Blues fooderies partner, Jason Rogers, shared a sip with Kellner, and they realized they had both frequented the same closed blues bar on 16th and Market Street, Brendan's. Years later, Brendan's became available, and it seemed like the perfect time to put some music back into the heart of LoDo. They named the venue after the drink that started it all. Today, located blocks away from Coors Field and Union Station, The Black Buzzard at Oskar Blues Denver hosts buzz-worthy musicians of all genres from Denver and beyond.
