Description
Music goes beyond skin-deep for Ethan Regan.
Piercing the surface, he’s not just singing and playing guitar—he’s laying his emotions bare. He’s saying the things we often leave unsaid, and practicing the best kind of therapy: out loud.
As a vocalist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, the North Carolina native shapes every facet of his artistry. He builds soundscapes from the ground up, performs every part, and sings straight from the soul.
Sonically, Ethan blends heartfelt folk with alternative experimentation, pulling inspiration from rock, hip-hop, and funk.
Born in Raleigh, his family settled in Charlotte by the time he was five. Though his parents encouraged him to take guitar lessons, his interest in the instrument didn’t fully ignite until he stumbled across a YouTube clip of Damien Rice performing at a festival.
During his freshman year of high school, Ethan taught himself how to produce music using Ableton and began releasing DIY projects. While attending Penn State for college, he consistently posted music on TikTok.
Eventually, his song “Durham” sparked a viral frenzy. The track quickly crossed over to DSPs, amassing several million Spotify streams in its early run. Follow-up singles “My Fault” and “Secrecy” delivered similar results, with rapidly growing listenership.
At the same time, Ethan honed his skills as a live performer, playing hundreds of shows and sharing the stage with artists like Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Chelsea Cutler, and Jeremy Zucker.
In 2025, he launched his first headline tour, playing to packed venues across the country.
Now signed to Columbia Records, Ethan continues to connect on a deep emotional level through a powerful series of singles—with much more on the way.
