**Papa Jack Couch with Micah Cadwell and Matt Wauchope and special guest St Bruce live at Eddie's Attic!**
Papa Jack Couch is back! He's making another turn through here, his favorite music venue, where he first came back to professional music, in 2016, as a walk-on in their legendary open mic.
Never mind his 60’s encounters with Gram Parsons and Johnny Cash, never mind his late 80’s shot as a staff songwriter in Nashville, his wife and sons always came first. But when he was left to start life over again on his own it was the music that came back, and he followed it to Eddie’s Attic and far beyond. Now four albums and two continents later he’s still just writing what he thinks the world needs more of; love and faith and a few well-chosen words.
He was blessed from early in his run to find amazing musicians who wanted to play his songs; Micah Cadwell with his virtuosity on guitar and Matt Wauchope with his brilliance on keyboards, along with Mike Dana’s impeccable rhythms. And they’re with him still, even though they each also continue their own successful careers.
Come join in their celebration of true life’s joys and heartaches, of lovers’ dreams and losers’ laments, from the dirt tracks of south Georgia to the waterways of Belgium, with the sounds of Brooklyn and New Orleans and Waycross all jumbled in, tied by the black-top two-lane highways that hold them, and all the rest of us, together.

*St Bruce has come sailing back into the Atlanta music scene after a decade in LA. He mixes rhythmically complex acoustics with mellow yet edgy vocals to produce a unique and compelling blend, somewhere between early John Mayer and later Dave Matthews. His time in southern Cal was well spent; as an aspiring actor, he began using the part-of-the-job downtime as opportunity for songwriting, with a propensity for creating intricate arrangements. Soon enough he was discovered by an excellent fingerstyle guitarist who became mentor, collaborator and inspiration for St Bruce’s ultimate style and approach. His own sound has emerged as distinct and hypnotic and it carries the listener into a cool and caring place where the vagaries of life are more artfully understandable. Come listen for yourself and gain a new perspective on the rhythms of life and love.*
