Flahoola - Live in Concert with special guests: Patema, Planet Lazarus Flahoola is a classic heavy metal band from Denver, Colorado with elements of psychedelic, old school, and thrash metal influences. Flahoola has been performing live in the Colorado music scene for over six years with various line ups, solidifying their permanent line up in 2022 with bassist & vocalist John Napier, guitarist Cole Helman, and drummer Jaydon Kershner. Each member’s diverse musical background combines to create the band’s captivating and unique new sound on their unreleased debut album titled “Electric Scythe”. “Electric Scythe” was tracked, mixed, and mastered at the Blasting Room studio in Fort Collins, Colorado by Chris Beeble, and Grammy award winner Jason Livermore. The album was tracked live in studio A at the Blasting Room over three days in August of 2024. Flahoola has gained significant traction in the Colorado music scene, recently performing in staple Denver venues such as The Oriental Theater, and Globe Hall with many more performances scheduled. Flahoola will be hitting the road extensively in 2025, with plans for international ventures in the near future. Created by Kellner Schoenke at their Longmont restaurant, The Black Buzzard drink fused bacon-infused bourbon and ten fidy imperial stout. Chef and Oskar Blues fooderies partner, Jason Rogers, shared a sip with Kellner, and they realized they had both frequented the same closed blues bar on 16th and Market Street, Brendan's. Years later, Brendan's became available, and it seemed like the perfect time to put some music back into the heart of LoDo. They named the venue after the drink that started it all. Today, located blocks away from Coors Field and Union Station, The Black Buzzard at Oskar Blues Denver hosts buzz-worthy musicians of all genres from Denver and beyond.
