Established as a non profit organization in 1995, the CPDSA remains steadfastly committed to uplifting & supporting the skate community year after year. The Skate Circle is completely intergenerational, interracial, and diverse in terms of sexuality, gender, and socio-economic class. Members range in age from early 20s to late 80s, and you'll often see multiple generations of the same family skating together! On July 3, the CPDSA is bringing their skate magic to Xanadu Roller Arts! Central Park resident DJs Misbehaviour, DJ D, and Rob Scott will provide the soundtrack for the evening. In addition to live DJs and skate magic straight from Central Park, there will also be vendors and raffles to win CPDSA swag and a commemorative photo book! The event is also a fundraiser to support the CPDSA's ability to continue to provide high quality entertainment and skating in the park.
