Well, it’s that time of the year again. Summertime, to be exact. The nights are longer. The drinks are cooler. And, if you do it right, the music sticks to your ribs just a bit more. Thankfully for you, The R&B Club has you covered with the last one. Our next event focuses exclusively on the songs of summer and those that feel just like summer. This idea was inspired by Amerie’s “Why Don’t We Fall In Love,” which lets you know what type of time we’re on. The choices are endless, so who knows how long this playlist is about to be? After we’re done, take this playlist into the world with you and spin it at your cookouts, kickbacks or any setting that requires good music. The particulars are the same. Pull up on us at Songbyrd on Sunday, June 8, from noon-2pm — though something tells us this might run a tad bit longer. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
