The Usual Boys
As much inspired by the dirge of the Berlin club scene, as by the angular sound of 80s Post Punk; The Usual Boysʼ Psychedelic Indie Rock sound is characterized by janky guitars and driving bass lines which underpin a dark post-ironic take on a seemingly unending ascent into adulthood.
The band began as an eccentric live act and quickly became known for their anxious on-stage energy; opening for artists such as The Undertones, The Happy Fits and The Blue Stones, as well as playing sold-out shows in Berlin and London. Over time they have cemented themselves as a distinct highlight of the Indie scene in Berlin; embarking on numerous headline tours of the UK and the Nordic countries after the release of their debut album "Failing to Be" in 04.2024. In addition they have been featured on publications such as DiyMag, RiotMag, Last Day Deaf and We All Want Someone to Shout For and been featured on editorial Spotify playlists and gotten radio play in Germany and the UK (BBC).
Cape Orange
Cape Orange is the electrifying melting pot of the three members’ wildly differing musical tastes. It’s a little bit rocky, a little bit country and a whole lot of POP. The Cape Orange girls pride themselves in having as much fun as possible in their music, on stage and in recording, and their tracks mirror their tongue and cheek playfulness in their approach to the industry.
