For the first takeover of the Mister Sunday season, we're presenting Nowadays resident Donis and rising star AQUTIE. Donis is a Dominican-American, born-and-raised New Yorker who grew up in the city's underground house scene, as a dancer and a DJ. His explorations of the intersections between Soulful House, Afro House, Techno and Disco are perfectly suited to the outdoor dance floor at Mister Sunday. AQUTIE, a South African, Guinean DJ/producer born and raised in Harlem, draws from a rich tapestry of influences spanning Afro house, AfroTech, gqom, and amapiano, intertwining the rhythms of the African continent with the soulful essence of her New York upbringing. She's at home in big rooms, playing alongside dance music megastars like Black Coffee, audiences of old school house heads alongside Louie Vega and will no doubt find her place in our booth while you sweat it out in our great outdoor dance floor. /// Welcome to Mister Sunday.
