PHLIRT is a compendium à la mixtape and club night; inspired by the musical freedom that permeated through the British counter culture movement in the late eighties and early nineties - where house, techno, EBM and every other sound under the sun with a knack to make you dance all collided in a beautiful explosion of liberatory movement. PHLIRT isn’t about genre convention or specific aesthetics. It’s about the swirling stew of ecstasy and revelry that musical surprises unlock. PHLIRT is about anything goes on the floor. A colorful musical cornucopia where underground dance music can find a unifying theory.
