Pride hasn’t always just been a celebration. Pride is resistance. Pride is a middle finger to those who say we can’t; to those who are actively trying to take away our voice and community. They didn’t succeed then and they sure as hell won’t do it now. For queer and trans folk- sound is our survival. Music has always been our weapon and refuge, from the ballroom to the rave, to the mosh pit. We’ll always find each other in the dark; loud, unapologetic, and unified.
