ARTIST BIO
Performing the Beatles since 2000, Yesterday – A Tribute to The Beatles, founded by Don Bellezzo, tours not only in the U.S. but internationally. With seven tours of Japan and dozens more to Canada, the Philippines, Hong Kong, the Bahamas, and United States military bases throughout the world, these entertainers have performed on five continents.
Yesterday is endorsed by Sir Paul McCartney himself. The band has been featured in Rolling Stone Magazine, Showbiz Magazine, on NBC, CBS, and ABC, Dick Clark’s Your Big Break, Ed McMahon’s Star Search, and recently returned as a highlight of the annual Joe Johnson’s Beatles Cruise aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
Sailing with Yesterday on the Beatles Tribute Cruise were Laurence Juber (formerly of Wings), Tony Bramwell (author and longtime Beatles childhood friend), and Tony Perkins from ABC’s Good Morning America, a well-known Beatles enthusiast.
Invited by the U.S. Postal Service to entertain at the unveiling of the “Yellow Submarine” postage stamp, Yesterday performed at the prestigious Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C.
Joining forces with Yesterday Productions, The British Are Coming! production was developed in the summer of 2010. Depicting the Beatles’ “live” U.S. performances, The British Are Coming! played for 3 years to nightly standing-room-only audiences at the Tropicana Hotel’s “Liverpool Club” in Atlantic City. The show has also enjoyed long-term runs at the Horizon Resort Casino’s Golden Cabaret Theater in Lake Tahoe, Harrah’s Hotel and Casino in Reno, and other venues nationwide.
As the resident Beatles Show Band for Legends in Concert, the world’s premier and longest-running tribute show, Yesterday performs regularly in Las Vegas, Nevada and Branson, Missouri.
After completing a 5-month run at the Tropicana LV Resort Casino in Yesterday – The Beatles Tribute on the Las Vegas Strip in 2021, the band toured in Mexico and Canada. Returning again to Mexico in December 2023, Yesterday is set to embark on a Canadian tour in 2025.
Yesterday is also featured with other Las Vegas celebrities on video at McCarran International Airport, welcoming all to the “Entertainment Capital of the World”… Las Vegas!
