About Frankie Cosmos
Website | Facebook | Instagram | YouTube | Spotify
Frankie Cosmos, led by singer/songwriter Greta Kline, began as a prolific home-recorded solo project in the early 2010s, inspired by New York’s anti-folk scene and DIY ethos. After releasing numerous online albums, Kline made her studio and label debut with Zentropy in 2014, followed by Next Thing (2016), which became a Top 40 independent album. Frankie Cosmos evolved into a full band, signing with Sub Pop and releasing Vessel (2018) and Close It Quietly (2019). The COVID-19 pandemic led Kline to write extensively, culminating in the introspective Inner World Peace (2022), which incorporated elements of psychedelic and ‘70s pop. Known for their sweet yet self-conscious indie pop, Frankie Cosmos continues to evolve while maintaining Kline’s signature earnest songwriting.
