Jelena ist eine in Zürich lebende DJ und Produzentin, deren Leidenschaft für elektronische Musik sich in einem Stil widerspiegelt, der von hypnotischen Texturen und treibenden Grooves geprägt ist. In ihren Produktionen, wie zuletzt der bei Room Trax erschienenen Bleep Me, Bleep Me Really Good EP, verbindet sie eine breite Palette an Einflüssen – von tiefen, hypnotischen Rhythmen über melodische Höhenflüge bis hin zu experimentellen elektronischen Sounds. Dass sich die Schweizer DJ, die bereits eine Residency im Basler Club Elysia hatte, musikalisch bestens mit JakoJako versteht und bereits mehrere B2B-Sets mit ihr gespielt hat, überrascht nicht. Zur heutigen Klubnacht spielt Jelena ihre Premiere auf dem großen Floor. Ebenfalls ihre Premiere spielt Paulete Lindacelva, eine DJ und Produzentin aus Pernambuco, die derzeit in São Paulo lebt. Ihre Sets weben einen lebhaften Klangteppich aus House, Disco und tropischen Rhythmen, der ihre tiefe Verbundenheit mit dem Erbe des Chicagoer House und der brasilianischen Musik widerspiegelt. Jelena is a Zurich-based DJ/producer whose passion for electronic music is manifested in a style defined by hypnotic textures and driving grooves. In her productions, such as the most recent Bleep Me, Bleep Me Really Good EP released by Room Trax, she combines a wide range of influences – from deep, hypnotic rhythms to melodic flights of fancy and experimental electronic sounds. It comes as no surprise that the Swiss DJ, who has already had a residency at Basel's Club Elysia, gets on well musically with JakoJako, having previously played several back-to-back sets with her. Jelena will be making her debut on the main floor at tonight's Klubnacht. Also playing here for the first time is Paulete Lindacelva, a DJ/producer from Pernambuco currently living in São Paulo. Her sets weave a vibrant tapestry of house, disco and tropical rhythms, reflecting her deep connection to the heritage of Chicago house and Brazilian music.
