Night Cap is an indie rock band, born and raised in Austin, Texas. Soon after the band’s formation in 2017, they became known for their now signature sound - rife with emotional builds, feel-good melodies, and just the right touch of nostalgia. What has followed has been festival plays including Austin City Limits and collaborations and performances alongside the likes of Mt. Joy, Houndmouth Dayglow, Briston Maroney, Wilderado, and slenderbodies, The band released their debut self-titled LP in 2024 and is currently releasing singles leading up to their sophomore LP, targeted for release at the end of 2025. The pairing of Ryan King and Jake Bomgaars, the band’s guitar-wielding vocalist duo, alongside bassist Alex Alfonso, demonstrate a harmonic compatibility that feels as natural as it is captivating, delivering thoughtful lyricism and snappy choruses.
