Born Nicholas Cowan on September 20, 1982, in Tyler, Texas, he was raised in Douglasville, Georgia. His father, a truck driver and former drummer, introduced him to music at an early age. Moon began his career as a songwriter, penning hits for artists like Zac Brown Band, Dierks Bentley, and Morgan Wallen. He also co-founded the group Sir Rosevelt with Zac Brown and Ben Simonetti.
In 2020, Moon launched his solo career with the release of the chart-topping single "Good Time," which became a multi-platinum hit. His debut album, Good Time, followed in 2021, featuring a blend of country, pop, and R&B influences. He continued to build on his success with the release of his second album, Better Days. Known for his positive and adventurous spirit, Moon's music reflects his laid-back lifestyle and love for the outdoors.
