「Mad scientist Whrikk, who traverses the depths of underground trance and contemporary techno, comes to Japan with a live set」 Netherlands-based Whrikk has a cult following amongst rave freaks and electronic music lovers worldwide with their dark psy/forest trance and speedy, mad techno organised with innovative electronics. This is their first visit to Japan in a year since their headlining 電気菩薩 -Denki Bosatsu- OPEN AIR at Chidori Park last May, and this time they are set to take the stage with their quintessential live set. Starting with his own label WHRK Records, he has also released collaborative EPs with Mala Junta and Amniote Editions, Schacke's label Sacred Interface, Berlin's Deestricted, Sweden's Sanaton Records, Ezy's Tricky Grain, and many more. Tricky Grain, among others, a career spanning nearly two decades has seen the release of a number of unique productions on important techno/trance labels. In recent years, he has appeared at the popular KØLT event in Amsterdam and the ‘Haunted’ edition of the Berlin techno party Mala Junta, which was also held at WOMB in February. He has also been a closing act at the first-ever Boiler Room in Goa, and has been strengthening his international presence.
