Stampley won the prestigious Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz piano competition last year and was recently named one of the Chicago Tribune's "Chicagoans of the Year for jazz". He's been highlighted by NPR, Chicago Tribune, San Francisco Chronicle etc. Stampley is joined by D-Erania Stampley, his mother, an acclaimed multi-instrumentalist who has been nominated for GRAMMYs in seven categories.
