★ RNB NIGHT with vendors and treats for you to enjoy a fun night out by the fire with some live music, and a dance party inside!
Join us for JIJI’s Jazz Club at Resident DTLA!! !
A monthly live music, open jam, and artists’ market ★ @jijisjazzclub
We are excited to announce April’s show! Come experience LA’s only Jazz Club of its kind 🎶JIJI’s is a musical event inspired by the underground jazz clubs of NYC!
This month’s Club will feature ALEX ANDRE, an emo/electronic/jazz artist and LA’s Latin jazz fusion band, YOCOYA. There will be an open jam after our main performance for anyone who’d like to perform. Alex Andre is a project that finds itself right at the delicate intersection of jazz, emo, and electronic music. With rich harmonic progressions and confessional lyrics all backed by a virtuosic live band, Alex Andre fosters the perfect vibe for crying in the club, dancing in the club, or more ideally, both crying and dancing in the club.
YOCOYA is a Los Angeles based 5 piece Latin jazz fusion group. They play original music inspired by the musics of Mexico, Cuba, American blues, and the Modern Jazz era. YOCOYA’s music has been featured in independent films, on KCRW’s “Just Jazz” Radio series, KJazz 88.1, CJSW 90.9, and in Downbeat Magazine for winning best composition for their original piece “Murcielago,” a 2023 International Songwriting competition Finalist, and a 2024 Unsigned Only Competition Finalist.
