Join us for our 3rd annual Reworked Runway, showcasing the work of indie fashion designers Megan O'Cain, Nicole Castañeda, Logan Blagg, Parron Allen, Amalya Meira, Made from Tearz, Simone Siegel, Khaya Bio Sciences, and By Liv Handmade. Each designer's collection will adorn our group of talented dancers as they perform choreography created by Verbal Animal Dance Co to a live full band musical set performed by Brooklyn based indie band The Thing. Our pre-show opener will consist of a performance art piece by Liv Reinertson, the founder of both Reworked Brooklyn and By Liv Handmade, set to a live musical performance by NYC ambient music duo Katz Pascale. For our post show after party, local DJs Gem Spa and Ruby Q will be spinning vinyl as we transform Xanadu Roller Arts into the rock and roll dance party of our dreams. This event is all about pushing boundaries and redefining fashion through a series of multidisciplinary performances.
