KLANGKARUSSELL BIO:
Klangkarussell are back in control. As younger men, this Austrian duo wrote ‘Sonnentanz’, a track that went on to be a global, chart topping hit. That naturally took the old Salzburg school friends in a certain direction - which, in the excitement of the moment, they were happy to embrace - but it was always at the whim of others rather than in pursuit of their own musical vision. They're doing things on their own terms, and on their own label – Bias Beach Records - an imprint that has so far seen the release of twelve Klangkarussell singles since September 2019 (‘Comoros’; ‘Ghostkeeper feat. GIVVEN’; ‘Shipwreck’; ‘My World’; ‘Follow feat. GIVVEN’; ‘Plastic’; ‘Air’, ´Home´, ´This Love´, ´Calling Out Your Name feat. Mando Diao´ ´I Feel Fine´ and latest track, ´Sight Of You feat. LissA´). Together, this run of releases has so far accrued an astonishing 200 million streams. Despite the fact that they have been making music together for a decade, they now have a renewed sense of purpose, energy and inspiration. Throughout their careers, the pair have always been masters of emotion. That emotion has been underpinned by a wide variety of rhythms, but always offered proper structure, and is amplified by Klangkarussell’s trademark synth work. Their DJ sets have remained in demand over the years, which is a testament to the effect they have on crowds everywhere from Phonox and XOYO in London to clubs across the rest of Europe and as far afield as US and Colombia.
EINMUSIK BIO:
Berlin-based musician and label head EINMUSIK is considered to be one of the most acclaimed representatives of Melodic House & Techno, and deservedly so. With a musical cosmos that straddles some of the world’s most esteemed imprints such as Stl Vor Talent, Diynamic, Katermukke, Suara, and Bedrock among others, the German producer’s boundless creativity has resulted in a desire to produce under multiple monikers; his real name (Samuel Kindermann) in addition to pseudonyms Resil, Ophir Project and Seriously Tight.
Born in the late 70s, EINMUSIK absorbed the sounds of Depeche Mode, Visage and Kraftwerk, gravitating to their melodic and experimental worth. These, in addition to Drum and Bass and emotive techno material, formed the muse for his debut 3-tracker, ‘Weekender’ (2003, via Italic). By 2004, Kindermann had mastered his core aesthetic as a producer and subsequently entered the German Dance Charts with his single ‘Jittery Heritage’; paving the way for future partnerships with labels like Liebe Detail, Bouq and Noir Music. Curating his all-important debut solo album “de, Medici” in 2007, which included some standout cuts from his back catalogue, EINMUSIK presented an authentic sonic palette founded on rapturous melodies and eccentric synth-work. Contributing further to the progression of the genre, Kindermann launched Einmusika Recordings just two short years later; a label that has since operated with flourishing success. Celebrating its tenth anniversary back in 2018, Einmusika’s showcases enjoyed sold out editions and festival inclusions from New York to Asia and everywhere in between.
