**About The Ophelias**
*https://theopheliasband.com/*
The Ophelias are a band inspired by nostalgia, nature, the Midwest, horror movies, and the moon. They formed in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2015 when Spencer Peppet (she/her) was a senior in high school. She recruited Mic Adams (he/him) on drums and Andrea Gutmann Fuentes (she/her) on violin, and Jo Shaffer (they/she) joined on bass a few years later. They released their first album Creature Native in 2015, recorded in a friend’s living room. They signed to Joyful Noise Recordings for their next albums: 2018’s Almost and 2021’s Crocus, which both received praise from The New York Times, Pitchfork, Stereogum, and other major outlets. In that time they collaborated with Julien Baker, played with bands like Indigo de Souza, Hand Habits, Mannequin Pussy, and comedian Cat Cohen, and played festivals like SXSW, Treefort, and Nelsonville. The Ophelias are a joyfully queer band with predominantly queer and trans members, and they take pride both in their identities and vocally supporting queer & trans rights.
**About LULLANAS**
Twin sisters Atisha and Nishita Lulla, aka LULLANAS, create songs wrapped in Americana warmth, folk eloquence, country storytelling, and unassuming pop ambition. Their debut EP, Before Everything Got Real, thrives on an inimitable and familial balance.Music manifested itself in LULLANAS’ lives at a young age. Growing up in Pennsylvania, they recall how important music was on their many family road trips, with their dad listening to The Beatles, The Eagles and Shania Twain, while their mom favored Johnny Cash and Eric Clapton. Before heading to college, their dad gifted Nishita a guitar. That guitar unlocked a world of possibilities as the girls started formally writing as a way to cope with high-stress summer internships in an unfamiliar New York City.Endless gigging followed as the pair picked up every show possible. The band performed in a graveyard, the produce section at Whole Foods, and anywhere else with a stage. During a summer visit to their grandmother in India, the duo ended up in an old cotton mill converted into a studio where they impromptu tracked “Don’t Say.” Without any expectations, they uploaded the track, which has gone on to surpass 1.3 million streams on Spotify alone. Between gigs alongside Maggie Rose, Neal Carpenter, and Wild Rivers, they toured with Peter Bradly Adams. During the summer of 2019, they recorded Before Everything Got Real with producer Peter Katis \[The National\].
**About Rachel Reale**
*https://rachelreale.bandcamp.com/*
Rachel Reale is the kind of singer/songwriter who isn’t afraid to tell it like it is. Inspired by artists like Fiona Apple and Lana Del Rey, her music is lyrically driven, with her strong, assured voice at the forefront of her sound. Her alternative baroque-pop sound paints a colorful image of an expansive, vivid inside world. Rachel uses her music to capture the sound of the human experience- a passionate, delicate, contemplative and wildly emotional thing. Rachel’s latest single, “The Real World,” was released in May.
