The name “Broken Blinds and Payment Plans” isn’t just a tour title—it’s the essence of Evening Elephants, the pulse of where we came from, and a reflection of where we’re headed. It’s a symbol of imperfection and resilience, of raw energy and authenticity, and the roots that hold us together no matter how far we roam.
Broken blinds are the scars of a house that’s lived in—a house that’s seen the chaos, the laughter, the late-night jams, and the reckless love of life. They’re the unfiltered cracks that let the light in, reminding us that we don’t need perfection to be heard. They take us back to the house party where it all began, where music thumped against walls, and the blinds swayed unevenly to the rhythm of our beginnings. They’re a reminder that punk isn’t about pristine spaces—it’s about finding beauty in the chaos and making something raw and real out of it.
Payment plans are the currency of dreams deferred but never abandoned. They are a symbol of scraping by, not in riches, but in spirit, doing whatever it takes to keep the music alive. They remind us of the sacrifices made to chase this ironic dream. We come from backyards filled with friends who weren’t rich in money but rich in love, loyalty, and a shared passion for the noise we made together. It’s the punk attitude at its core—defying odds and embracing the hustle because that’s where the real power is born.
This tour is for anyone who’s ever made something out of nothing. It’s for those who’ve had to find light through broken blinds and for anyone who’s found wealth in love, creativity, and rebellion against a world that demands conformity. “Broken Blinds and Payment Plans” is about taking what’s imperfect and turning it into art, about fighting back with music and showing the world that even when the system tries to keep us small, we play louder and stronger.
This isn’t just our story—it’s yours too. For the fighters, and the ones who know that even in imperfection, there’s beauty. It’s a reminder that where we start doesn’t define us, but it shapes the songs we sing and the stories we tell.
So we invite you to come with us.
This is Evening Elephants. Welcome to the “Broken Blinds and Payment Plans” Tour.
