FRIDAY, JANUARY 31ST (9:30PM til 2:15AM+) BooM BooM RooM Presents: **MARK LIGONDE** and **Magic School Busk** Mark Ligonde is a badazz multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from South Florida. Mark has long been a regular in bands that grace the BooM BooM RooM stage, but in his swan song to San Francisco, he is finding himself leading a band with us for the first time Mark completed his undergraduate degree in Jazz Bass at Oberlin College, and subsequently obtained his Master’s at San Francisco Conservatory of Music in Technology and Applied Composition. With a sound that mixes jazz, indie, and funk, Mark is etching his name as an independent artist. He has experience performing at many venues across the Bay Area including the Fillmore and the Black Cat, but is currently focused on his own personal project, SEVEN, an EP due to drop at the end of January. Along with Mark will be some absolutely killing funky musicians, all with deep roots in the BooM and the Bay Area, including Chili Corder of the Boom Squad on Guitar, Julian Lopez of Miss Hits on Keys, and the absolute clock of a man Henry Plumb behind the Drums.
