Description
rally's WRONG TURN TOUR stops by Mood Ring for a thunderous night of 160+bpm music from master selectors of jungle, juke, footwork, and breaks.
Albuquerque-based producer SlowRolla (@slowrolla) headlines for his NYC debut. His forward-thinking 160bpm sound has been featured in The Footwork Jungle and landed him on line-ups with The Glitch Mob and Anna Morgan. Expect a genre-bridging set that bounces from footwork and techno to jungle and breaks from one of the U.S.'s rising electronic champions.
Joining us from Baltimore are minced curators Pouty's Rage (@poutysrage) and PMMAIRE (@pmmaire). These speed demons throw Baltimore's premiere 160bpm event with guest features including Pete Cannon, BC9000, and rising Moveltraxx artists Mars Kasei, Grifter160, and Scarlett Star. You may hear some Baltimore club, but the real draw is Pouty's Rage's specialty jungle tekno and PMMAIRE's NYC debut of her high-octane electro rumblers.
Local heavy hitters, BBYGRL and our resident DJ amita round up our line-up. Brooklyn-via-Albuquerque DJ BBYGRL (@pizzaqueenhaley) specializes in ghetto tech, jersey, and footwork styles with odes to her love for 80's and 90's Hip Hop & RnB.
Since making their debut at rally in June amita (@amitamarsanto) has quickly taken Brooklyn by storm with their fast and bassy sound. Splitting time between Tokyo and NYC, amita curates sets that are just as well traveled and connect footwork, jungle, and 160bpm scenes locally and abroad.
Open minds and brisk moves welcome. LET ME SEE YOU WORK!
Don't make a wrong turn...
