However, Lemon's (with an apostrophe 's) is a Memphis-based indie rock band composed of Susie Hydrick, Jackson Williams, and Ben Spiegelman. While their sound is heavily characterized by catchy guitar riffs and thoughtful instrumentation, just as much, if not more, thought goes into the lyrical content of their music. They often draw inspiration from life experiences, such as family trauma, romantic and familial relationships, and their own introspective journeys. Their sound is reminiscent of groups who inspire them like Young the Giant, The Backseat Lovers, Arctic Monkeys, and other indie rock groups. Lemon's stepped into the music scene in February 2021 with hopes to one day tour the world and be the force behind the song you get sick of hearing on the radio. Created by Kellner Schoenke at their Longmont restaurant, The Black Buzzard drink fused bacon-infused bourbon and ten fidy imperial stout. Chef and Oskar Blues fooderies partner, Jason Rogers, shared a sip with Kellner, and they realized they had both frequented the same closed blues bar on 16th and Market Street, Brendan's. Years later, Brendan's became available, and it seemed like the perfect time to put some music back into the heart of LoDo. They named the venue after the drink that started it all. Today, located blocks away from Coors Field and Union Station, The Black Buzzard at Oskar Blues Denver hosts buzz-worthy musicians of all genres from Denver and beyond.
