Description
Join us to party, join us to help.
This event will be “One Drop” in the ocean, to support the Palestinian and Lebanese people in these times of urgency caused by Israel’s genocidal and colonial actions.
One Drop only, but better than nothing, because the sense of powerlessness should not paralyze us. We have the right to go on living and we have the duty to get involved.
We believe the two can come together : we propose you to come with us.
Artists from Palestine, Lebanon and Europe will make you dance till dawn, at Petit Bain on Friday 17th of January. The energy of music will be directly channeled to the lands of Gaza and Southern Beirut : 100% of profits will be distributed to local NGOs (in equal parts) thanks to our partners:
For Gaza: Founded by Palestinians Omar Radejko and Nanor Abu Sway, Sa7ten was created in response to the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Sa7ten harnesses the power of culture by organizing concerts, art exhibitions, film screenings, and pop-ups to raise critical funds. These funds are sent directly to their team on the ground, who distributes food and water, construct wells and toilets, and provide financial aid and clothing to displaced families.
For Lebanon: Friends of Lebanon’s First Responders is raising funds to equip Ras Beirut Station of the Lebanese Civil Defense with a new fire engine after their primary vehicle broke down. Since the escalation of the attacks in southern Beirut, Ras Beirut Station has played a vital role in firefighting, ambulance, and rescue operations. A new fire engine is crucial to restoring their capacity to save lives and protect communities. All funds will go directly to supporting this life-saving work.
