Description
Australia-via-UK due X CLUB. headlines FIST’s first party of 2025. The group’s dynamic embrace of rave sounds, warehouse techno and even shades of big beat makes them unparalleled party starters. Tracks like “This Subwoofer Addiction is Getting Out of Hand” or the simply titled “Frankie Knuckles” feel like lost artifacts of a bygone era. This music pops off on an almost dangerous level. Stuttgart’s LDS ramps up the tension and grit with a menacing dose of hi-def sonic warfare. Also indebted to classic rave touchstones, LDS re-synthesizes his ingredients into something bright and ferocious. His productions seem to teeter thrillingly on the edge of stability, thriving in volatility. Residents Word of Command and DJ Clone match the fervor with indelible mania.
Mike Servito is one of NY’s real-deal living legends. The Bunker resident and supreme master of jacking acid house practically wrote the book on how to DJ in the modern era. Hailing from Detroit but a longtime resident of NY, Servito’s knack both for rude, saucy, attention-commanding tracks and for impeccable mixing made him a landmark artist in NY’s dance music renaissance. He remains uncontested - a true school head, a master behind the decks and a voice of discernment. TT’s vibrant, exploratory style has continued to evolve over the last year. Taking a starting position in high velocity club sensuality, TT wrings as much storytelling and expansiveness from their sets as possible. Mamba Negra resident Alírio makes her debut. A breakout of Brazil’s thriving underground, Alíro’s roots are in the ballroom underground, working with dissident artists in her home country to produce politically charged club anthems. That doesn't mean her music is deadly serious; Alírio describes her tracks as “Brazilian cuntcore,” and true to that spirit, she brings a searing sense of extravagant ferocity that ignites the room.
