Shelley Star is an intergalactic performer from Planet Glam, using a blend of song, dance, and theatrics to explore new musical dimensions. Drawing influences from the art of drag and artists like Lady Gaga, The Killers, and ABBA, Shelley Star and her band The Galaxy have made waves across the Washington, DC music scene since their inception in October 2022. They released their debut album in February 2024, featuring WAMMY award nominated hit singles such as “Battery Baby” and “Space Disco Fever”. Their most recent single “Diamond Sweat”, the first from their upcoming sophomore album, released to high acclaim.
