Born out of a love for Jordan’s and expensive tuna, the 4-piece noise rock outfit, TORO, came together to make cohesive and eclectic walls of sounds through merging destructive fuzz tones and soaring synths with viceral lyrics. \--Courage Mother is a 3-piece post-hardcore band from Northern Virginia, the brainchild of songwriter Lily Monico. Following the ending of a previous local project in 2017, Courage Mother was a project that originated from the desire to overcome. Their songs typically are very high in intensity, structurally adventurous, and lyrically address situations of trauma and growth. \--Scoria - At it’s core, scoria is a mix of alternative rock, shoegaze, and metal, projecting a face-melting wall of sound at each live performance. Scoria was formed in the DMV, playing high school parties, skate shops, taekwondo dojos, and any other shows in the area. \--Rosslyn Station is the anti-folk project of Guinevere Tully.
