Main Bar - Free Event | 21+ Haha Happy Hour Presents: The Good Guy Show! A standup showcase/unrelenting quest to find where all the Good Guys are in the Chicago comedy scene. Every month, our fearless emcees and co-producers Isabel Amaya and Megan Metzger handpick four smoking hot femme/gnc/non-binary comedians and one cis straight male comedian (“The Guy”) to regale audiences with their hilariously terrible tribulations surrounding sex, dating and that crazy little thing called love. In between comics, Isabel and Megan pose hypotheticals to The Guy related to each set, because a Good Guy listens. After The Guy closes out the night, by the power of Q-code democracy, the audience determines whether or not The Guy is a Good Guy. The Good Guy Show is a good-natured, lightly-salted roast where we’ll all laugh, but also maybe learn?!? About the producers: Isabel Amaya is a comic from Oak Park, IL who produces, hosts, and performs around Chicago. Her comedy explores family, identity, and what it’s like to be a 27 year old woman (hard). Isabel’s jokes are primarily for women, but guys can listen too if they want. Megan Metzger is an unambitious but brilliant comedian who comes to Chicago by way of NYC. She likes to make jokes about the TV that raised her, the sex that confused her, and all the mental illnesses she has that makes her seem really interesting and complicated.
