FLAGS is a four-piece Austin, TX post-punk band that started in 2023. Consisting of Cait McCoy (guitar, vocals), Reid Haynie (guitar, vocals), Carson Braymer (drums, vocals), and Lucy Weatherby (bass) the band delivers high-energy live shows that boasts memorable, interlocking guitar parts, fast moving bass lines, and dynamic vocals. Fans of the B-52s and Sonic Youth will appreciate sounds that are both familiar and excitingly new- a 4 song EP from the band drops later this year. Prehuman is an Austin based band drawing their main sources of musical inspiration from 90's/00's grunge & alternative rock with ethereal elements, fuzzy tones, & catchy hooks. Fans of Kims Deal & Gordon will appreciate the vocals, raw & alluring in their natural state. Prehuman is Ginny Thornton (vocals, bass), Charlie Cruz (lead guitar), Lauren Lakis (rhythm guitar & backup vocals), Matthew Judson (drums/percussion) Con Man is an alt-rock band from Austin, TX formed by Connor Oakley (guitar and vocals) in 2019. The band now also features Charlie Cruz on bass (Exotic Frutica, Prehuman, The Texases, etc. ), Eric Maradiaga on guitar, and Wayne Zingery (Tied Up, Blacktooth) on drums. Drawing from a background in hardcore, pop punk, garage rock, and psych, audiences can expect a wide range of influence in every song, while remaining distinctly Con Man. After a series of EPs, their debut album,“Con Descending,” was released in December 2023, and the band is currently working on a follow up. Eighty Six Truth is a new four-piece band based out of Austin, Texas, offering an eclectic source of ethereal noise and at times atmospheric minimalism. The band made their live debut in November of 2024, and plans to release music in early 2025.
