Orbital, British-born brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll, became one of the biggest dance acts of the time in the mid-1990s with their ambitious yet accessible electronic music. Their extensive repertoire was inspired by a wide range of genres such as ambient, electro, punk and film music, enabling them to count even rock fans among their audience. Since their 1990 breakthrough hit ‘Chime’, the duo released a number of acclaimed albums, including 1993's “Orbital 2”.
