D.C., acclaimed Riot Grrrl band Cherub Tree paves a new road in the punk and indie scene with their eclectic musical style. Shortly after releasing their DIY EP "where are your manners" , Cherub Tree released their long-awaited single "not yours, never was - Anthem Edition"; a Riot-Grrrl anthem inspired by the overturning of Roe v Wade in 2022. Delving deep into their Punk Rock, 90’s Grunge, and Riot-Grrrl influences, Cherub Tree’s new sound has received heavy accolades and praise, leading them to two separate 2024 Washington DC Music Awards for ‘Best Punk Song’ and ‘Best Punk Artist’.
