Resident LYDO completes the lineup, making their second appearance of the month. LYDO’s exquisite control sets them in a league of their own. An artist with an expansive creative sensibility and a thorough grasp on mesmerizing, spacious techno, LYDO has become a landmark artist amongst their cohort. GIDEÖN joins in STUDIO. At the helm of his Homo-Centric label, GIDEÖN has presented a run of immaculate love letters to classic house sounds. A modern take on the moody, jazz-hued house that defined NY in the early ‘90s, GIDEÖN’s output practically groans under the supple weight of its intoxicating low end. Tracks like “Hora de Bailar” hit you right in the gut, drawing you deep into their undertow. The Carry Nation are, without hesitation or qualification, one of NY’s greatest DJ duos. The long-running collaboration between Nita Aviance and Will Automagic, The Carry Nation has spent over a decade honing their craft. Their joyous mixture of mammoth, tribal house, euphoric vocal flips and saucy electro/club hybrids is so well-crafted and effortless, it’s practically peerless. They’ve become one of STUDIO’s most regular bookings, and it’s easy to see why. The Carry Nation always delivers. Heidi Lawden completes the lineup.
