Jay Nortown y Jacobo Saavedra se conocieron en Pikes en 2018, un buen lugar para comenzar una relación musical. They quickly connected their musical tastes and began a friendly relationship that was forged in the booth, with a great chemistry between them that they soon transferred to the studio. Their separate career have been very different, which makes them complement each other perfectly, which makes their sessions characterized by a very forceful character. They have a great dancefloor reading and do not hesitate to play with various styles close to minimal house. They are combined generating sensations on the track, counteracting ups and downs, breaks and melodies. Together they have played, besides many places in Ibiza, like Eden, Playa Soleil, Cova Santa or Octan, in places like Les Enfants, Jazzy (Madrid), Friedas Buexe (Switzerland), Fabric London, Marrakech with Supervibe and many more. In the studio, these disparate trajectories until they come together generate something special, just like in the booth. They understand music and the way of producing in very different ways, which means that when they come together and create a common workflow, they achieve great results, having a very characteristic sound, which can be seen in the different musical styles that they are capable of doing. His releases are very well received on the local and international scene. EPs on labels like Fun Records, El Row, HedZup and many more as well as several vinyl records, on labels like Moovin, UNK Milano or SVDR (the label they run) all Sold Out. Velvet is the new project in which they are investing all their energy. It will consist of a series of events, mainly in Ibiza (Eden and Nui), Fabric London, Madrid and Les Enfants, and a vinyl only record label, which will be supported by a series of edit and other releases on bandcamp. His music has been played by great artists from the minimal-house scene, such as Traumer, Nu Zau, Alci, Arapu, Janeret, Vern, Sepp, Tania Vulcano, Mihai Pol, Cally, Chklte, Direkt, 2Vilas, De La Swing, or Silat Beksi in places like Sunwaves, Circoloco, Pyramid, Space Miami, Fabric London, Music On and many more.
