Description
Taking place at 4 PM on Sunday, December 8th, the eight-hour, open-to-close set gives the Detroit luminary the chance to explore the far corners of his extensive record collection. The event is RA's first with Parrish, and his first London club set in five years.
The set is part of fabric's 25th anniversary celebrations, running throughout the year. A book chronicling the storied history of the Farringdon venue will be released in December.
Parrish, who first began DJing at 13 in 1986, is a pioneer of the underground music scenes in both Kansas City (where he received a BA in sculpture from the Kansas City Art Institute), and Detroit. Parrish moved to Michigan in 1994 and launched his label Sound Signature a few years later, releasing his debut LP First Floor in 1998. Outside of his solo work, he is also a member of 3 Chairs alongside Moodymann and Marcellus Pittman.
