This is a late afternoon/early evening event that is no different than our late night shows with lights/sound and of course, dance! Born to a Congolese father, DJ Karaba’s music & DJ sets are deeply rooted in the rhythmic sounds of the African continent. Her background as a dancer gives her a connection to the music and crowd that is unmatched. Kapela is an iconic world renowned House Dancer who transformed his love for music and dance into controlling the crowd from the DJ booth, weaving through Afro House, Afro Tech & Tribal house. They will be joined by DESCENDANTS Founder Meedy and resident artist Pizzi for a very special b2b, along with the Bronx’s very own Puerto Rican-Panamanian DJ Bembona & NY based soulful/deep house artist SRRMN.
