Description
Join comedians Jay Jurden, Carmen Lagala, Alex Nicholas, and Joshua Lay for a night of laughter as they fundraise for the local Jersey City community. Limited edition tote bags (while supplies last) will be provided in exchange for new, unopened toys and lightly used jackets/coats. Proceeds will be donated to The Triangle Park Community Center of Jersey City.
The Triangle Park Community Center works towards a community with hope and without violence in the Ferris-Triangle Park section of Greenville, a historically under-resourced area of Jersey City. We do this by feeding and clothing our neighbors, and by bringing existing supportive and educational programs to them that would otherwise be financially or geographically inaccessible. We serve as a hub for activism, partnering with local leaders and community members for the betterment of Greenville, and we create events that bring community and neighbors together with joy.

Carmen Lagala masterfully blends dark humor with sharp wit, making her a force to be reckoned with. Carmen’s journey from a shy Vermont collegiate hall-of-fame athlete to a well-known New York City stand-up comedian is nothing short of inspiring.
After performing throughout the country for over 15 years, Carmen has developed a fearless approach to comedy, tackling everything from current events to personal experiences, leaving no topic off limits.
Whether she’s speaking on womanhood, mental health, or her late-in-life coming out as pansexual, Carmen brilliantly turns life’s toughest moments into laugh-out-loud material.
You may have seen her on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, or being absolutely filthy on Don’t Tell Comedy and in clubs and colleges around the country!
You can find her on Instagram & TikTok, and subscribe to her YouTube channel to catch her debut hour-long special, premiering September 2024!
Alex Nicholas co-hosts the stand-up showcases STFU at Nucky’s, Crockpot Comedy at Pet Shop, and is a regular at The Stress Factory Comedy Club in New Brunswick, NJ, where he has worked with Gilbert Gottfriend, Tone Bell and Greg Fitzsimmons. He has been written about in Shout Out LA, Voyage LA Magazine and NJ.com.
Joshua Lay is an Oklahoma native, New Jersey transplant stand-up comedian and writer. He entertains audiences with his introspective humor and musings on life. He performed in the Jersey City Comedy Festival, the NY Comedy Mob Festival, and the Blue Whale Comedy Festival. You can see him perform regularly in the tri-state area.
