Description
Heretics once again graces the Mainstage of Oxford Art Factory to bring more of the underground bands of Sydney to a stage that they deserve to be on.
Belvedeer is a four-piece post-punk/hardcore band based in Eora. The band's sound is characterized by a harsh blend of intense, cut-throat delivery and emotive, romantic ballads. Taking inspiration from the alternative scene of the 00s, Belvedeer's music packs a punch to your gut, combining unrelenting raw energy with heartfelt emotion and a frenzied stage presence.
Making their debut on the Oxford Art Factory Stage, Dorsia seamlessly blends gritty guitar with introspective lyrics, with influences ranging from 90s and modern. metalcore, hardcore, prog rock sounds, orsia crafts songs that outline heavy emotions, experiences and generally amp the f**k out of anyone that is in the vicinity of these boys.
Inspired by your parent’s CD collection, Kitty of the Valley is a band from Sydney/Gadigal that draws inspiration from no-wave and dance punk music. Known for their energetic live performances, they fuse dissonant rhythms with experimental soundscapes, creating an immersive experience. Their sound captures the raw, frenetic energy of the underground scene while remaining irresistibly danceable.
Demolition Man are a relatively new band to dive headfirst into the shallow end of the egg-punk genre with the release of Extended Play(!!) earlier this year and a playing a handful of gigs throughout inner-city and inner west Sydney. Behind the writing and recording of this EP is the guitarist of the group Oli Hitchen. The line up for the live band consists of Sunny Capron on Synth, Ben Gordon on Bass, Oli Hitchen on guitar and vocals, and Riki Wells on Drums.
We acknowledge that this event is held on the stolen lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. We pay our respects to Elders, past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded.
