Thayer has interviewed over two dozen iconic Brazilian musicians - both contemporary stars like Seu Jorge, and icons like Sergio Mendes. He recently penned the definitive English language book about one of Brazil’s musical icons, the infamous “James Brown of Brazil”, Tim Maia.
