Treefort Music Hall's SPECs & FAQs
A transformative yoga and sound event that will guide you from your heart to the Divine. Through four rounds of progressive namaskars (salutations), we'll honor the self, others, the planet, and the infinite.
Utilizing vinyasa as a movement meditation, we will gently peel back the layers that block the experience of boundless joy and gratitude.
OM chanting will be woven throughout to clear and align the heart and mind, bringing self and other into a state of coherence and full presence.
The practice will culminate in a 60-minute harmonizing sound bath, where the vibrations of vocal intonation, crystal bowls, chimes, and other instruments will wash over you, deepening your relaxation and integrating the heart-opening energy of the session.
Emily is a versatile sound, bringing together a tapestry of talents that include being a classically trained vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, certified integral life coach, and a dedicated yogi. Equipped with a Bachelors of Science, Emily artfully weaves together science and spirituality to support clients in the profound exploration of the interconnected realms of the mind, body, and soul to live a more full and expanded life.
Her passion lies in the profound exploration of the interconnected realms of the mind, body, and soul. Through her unique approach to tonal alchemy and the magic of sound frequency, Emily crafts an ethereal sanctuary where she gently guides others into profound states of consciousness and deep relaxation.
In her healing journey, Emily employs a symphony of instruments, including sound bowls, drums, chimes, gongs, and Tibetan bowls. She artfully tunes into the frequencies of the universe, helping to regulate the nervous system.
Her mission is to dissolve the burdens of stress that weigh upon the physical body and uplift overall well-being. Emily's work is a testament to the powerful of sound to heal and transform, as she invites you to embark on a harmonious journey toward self-awareness and inner peace.
Marcy Midnight, founder of Ananda Yoga Space, believes yoga is the practice of embracing the flow of our true self, and affirming that we always have a choice to either reinforce our conditioning or transform, grow and be who we are born to be. Committed to empowering others with her intuitive, authentic teaching, Marcy offers creative vinyasa sequences, mantra, pranayama, focused intention, meditation and spontaneous movement to unite mind, body and spirit. Her vinyasa flow classes integrate breath with movement, form and flow, and strength with deep relaxation. Through intelligent sequences, self-inquiry, and intention setting, she cultivates a strong presence and guides students through a transformational experience in a safe and inclusive atmosphere.
Her teaching is inspired and influenced by the many styles of yoga she’s trained and practiced in including Iyengar, Ashtanga, Tantra, Vinyasa, Prana Flow, Kundalini, Somatic Breathwork, Yoga and Social Justice. Her offerings are deeply rooted with her formal teachers and yoga philosophy, but her inspiration for theme and metaphor in the class setting comes from real life experience.
In addition to weekly classes, she offers Yoga and Breathwork workshops and training; local and international retreats.
