“It’s never too late to re-start the rock star dream,” says Jeff Malkin, frontman for The Crosseyed. Backed by a killer band including Steven Wolf on drums, Richard Hammond on bass guitar, Rob Clores on keys, and Aaron Lee Tasjan on guitar, The Crosseyed blends a fresh rock-n-roll sound combining British and alt-country flavors with some crafty lyrics. The band’s first album, Born in the Bowery, kicks off with an opiate-infused sonic punch to the face and then winds through a collection of heart-felt, edgy rockers clearly influenced by Radiohead, Jack White, Wilco and The Lumineers. "With this all-star band, the love in the room and the energy of the East Village, the album took on an incredible life of its own," said Malkin. Born in the Bowery was released in August 2024 and hopes to be received with critical acclaim. ;)
