Huron John
Huron John evolves. A 24-year-old multimedia artist from Chicago, Illinois now based in Nashville, Tennessee, Huron provides a new layer of definition to the “do-it-yourself” indie standard. Entirely producing, writing, and engineering a now multi-album discography, the project’s genre-defying sounds proudly shapeshift into a rainbow-spectrum of moods and flavors. Using a wholesomely grassroots approach to independently amass over 35 million listens worldwide, they have carefully supplemented album rollouts with a multimedia angle including physical art books, interactive experiences, and most recently a full-length film premiered in theaters across select cities. Utilizing a ‘mystery-ridden online persona’ (-MTV) and a ‘day-tripper sound that delivers glitch juxtaposed with groove’ (-Ones To Watch), a mesmerizing melting-pot of alternative, electronic & sound-collage are delivered with ease.
Recently releasing their 3rd album “Indigo Jack & The New World Border”, Huron enters uncharted territory with no reservation. An ambitious but meditative expedition quickly alternating between colorful alternative-rock (JUST ME & FRIENDS), bouncing R&B grooves (BLOOD DIAMOND RING), nocturnal electronic (CALDERA), and more, “Indigo Jack” serves as the artist project’s defining statement. Heavily inspired by surrealism and American folk-art, specifically Leonard Knight’s “Salvation Mountain” sculpture, “IJ&TNWB” describes the journey of crossing “The World Border” - a fantasy barrier that symbolizes the complete surrender to life’s mysteries. Sonically incorporating many firsts for a Huron John project such as direct-from-vinyl sampling, orchestral sections and shoegaze-esque textures (a look into the artist project’s future), no compromises were made in its final form. Boasting their most dense production and songwriting yet supported by an eclectic arsenal of collaborators and visual components, the nearly 3-year labor was completed utilizing a global route of creative spaces. Praised by the likes of Zane Lowe in addition to charting nationally on North American radio, the “Indigo Jack & The New World Border” album reinforces the fundamental purpose of Huron John: weaving an extensive discography with every album acting as a brush-stroke over a much larger canvas.
Finding its footing in 2018 as a virtually-unknown name within the Chicago indie-scene, their growing catalog has become essential listening within D.I.Y-arts communities. Making ample noise in 2020-2021 with the now cult-favorite double LP “Apocalypse Wow / cartoon therapy”, Huron’s constant striving for an expansion in sound and genre-experimentation reflects clearly in their works both present and past. Directly quoted in treating their discography as “a social experiment or time-capsule to try and describe the change we experience throughout our lifetimes”, the Huron John project is a reflective musical guest-book for all passersby to write their name into.

DBMK
Surviving Tampa Bay, Florida, DBMK now independently makes their unique and innovative indie-pop sound stationed in New York City. Kyle produces deeply personal lyrics and a vocal presence from a loaded pallet of both delicate falsetto and heavy prince-inspired screams. Colton is nimble on the drums, downright beating the shit out of his instrument.
After collaborating with and learning from world-class producers like Kieron Menzies (FKA twigs, Lana Del Rey) and Grammy Award-winning Nick Lobel (Harry Styles, LANY) DBMK entirely self-produced their new EP ‘It Gets Dimmer’ in their Brooklyn studio.
