Chicago's legendary RP Boo is a founding innovator of Footwork, one of the most vital and singular electronic genres to emerge in the 21st century. Across a series of records, mostly on Planet Mu, his uncopyable percussive style and raw, confrontational sampling come together with a brilliant defiance. Of his cohort, RP stands as one of the wildest and most electrifying. His set at our inaugural 2023 festival stands burned in our brains as a moment of pure catharsis and life-giving joy. You know what's coming: R-P-BOOOOO. Neffa-T lands from Bristol with a special six deck set. If you were at his Groovy Groovy appearance in 2023 , you know how ferocious Neffa can be. Since the release of the six fader Pioneer mixers, he's ramped up his approach to keep the energy at peak levels with near-limitless opportunities to layer and collage. Fusing grime's streetwise ferocity with a wide-ranging approach to global club sounds, Neffa-T is at the vanguard of next-generation dance innovation. Avant garde dancer Azumi O E is joined by Yuka C Honda for a performance of Butoh-inspired movement. Her performance at Dripping's collaboration with DRONE festival in May was a haunting moment of uncanny depth. She opens the night.
