Known for their emotive, sonically layered punk sound, Chicago's Homesafe emerged in the mid-2010s with 2016's highly rated Evermore EP, followed by their full-length debut, 2018's One. The group remained prolific into the next decade with additional EPs and the 2021 album Nervous Reaction.
Hailing from Chicago’s south suburbs, Pat Egan & the Heavy Hearts is an indie rock band informed by folk rock songwriting and power pop guitar swagger. Starting in the Chicago music scene over 10 years ago, Pat Egan made a name for himself evoking emotional and powerful sing alongs within the DIY pop punk scene and city open mics. While recording the full band EP in 2015, “Empty Bottle Ballads,” The Heavy Hearts were formed to enhance and expand the sound of the live show. Throughout the years, a rotating lineup of friends and peers has made up The Heavy Hearts sound, but guitarist Adam Chorak is the main stay and longest collaborator. Together, the band has blended sounds of roots rock, alternative rock and even pop folk to make a unique sound.
New Age Thief is a Chicago based two-piece band, channeling the sounds of earlier eras of emo/alternative music through impassioned, drivey, and anthemic songs that draw heavy influence from bands like Jimmy Eat World and Basement. They released their first single 'Circle the Room' back in December of last year, and most recently announced their ‘Memento’ EP alongside their signing to Wax Bodega.
Presented by Sleeping Village.
