As we enter the winter season, Secret Psychedelica welcomes the new year with a fresh set of zodiac psytrance nights starting with the 4th annual Capricorn party! Back to heat things up on the dance floor will be the one constant component that connects every Capricorn party, San Francisco Bay Area's very own veteran psytrance producer, Random! Joining him will be a carefully curated tribe of Capricorn producers and DJs. Random is the alias that encompasses the audio adventures of hometown hero and sea-goat extraordinary, Ross DuBois! WIth a career that has mixed DJing, producing, and event organizing together for over a quarter century, Random has been integral in the local psychedelic trance scene. This year, he'll be throwing down a producer set at the magical midnight hour that will cater to those in need of some serious mind expansion! With a discography that includes four cutting edge albums as well as countless compilation appearances on labels including PsynOpticz Records, Sculpted Sounds, and Star Active Records, Random can take dance floors to any and every psytrance experience imaginable. Returning to the Secret Psychedelica lineup since her debut performance at last year's Capricorn party will be Xibalba Records DJ, Sayaquita! Sayaquita got her start in the virtual world hosting, modding, and eventually DJing countless psytrance streams and raid trains for the past five years. Her online following is massive and it's been translating to in-person events as well. Sayaquita is fluent in many forms of psychedelic electronic music from ambient/downtempo to hi-tech/darkpsy, but it be will her uplifting full-on frequencies that will fill the DNA Lounge and energize the spirits of all psytrancers at Secret Psychedelica. Additional Capricorns traversing the path through the psytrance room include Aquamoon of Forrest Functions performing a dawless live set and Brandragon representing the next generation of Secret Psychedelica DJs. The second room will feature a cornucopia of DJs overflowing with the sounds techno, bass music, and progressive. Gamma, founder of Stilldream, leads the way in that room along with Speakeasy Ray and Sausee & Suipsyedking who's selections will surely complement the evening with the proper vibrations.
