Description
For the seventh year running, DJs Jeff Mendoza, Tabu and Sadiq, the trio behind the New York institution, Soul Summit, bring the outdoor energy from their long-running Fort Greene festivities into our own back yard. The vibe is always joyous. And the weekend is always long. Dress to dance.

It’s the fourteenth season of Mister Sunday, our ninth year in the big backyard at Nowadays. We’ll be basking in the sun and swimming in the waves of the speakers from now until the first weekend in November. Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin will be in the DJ booth most every week, with occasional guest appearances from folks like Jacky Sommer from Analog Soul, Ariel Zetina, Ron Like Hell, Anz, Carlos Souffront, Devoye, Josey Rebelle, Palms Trax, Soul Summit, and Theo Parrish.
All the other things that have made the party nice for all these years are still in effect: the food truck, now featuring supreme tacos and Mexican fare from the folks at The Zumbador; the ever expanding greenery of the Nowadays garden; a run of merch, this year designed by Kate Gibb; that post-sunset dance floor installation by Inner Light; and of course, vibes, trees, sun, and tree-sun vibes. And wait, oh yeah, YOU!
If you're planning to come often, check the Nowadays Patreon for tiers that give you discounts or free entry. You can also buy tickets here or RSVP for reduced entry.
An RSVP is good for one person. If you're bringing friends, please have them RSVP here as well. In order to receive the RSVP discount, you must be at the ticket desk by the cutoff time and not just in line. It's wise to arrive early to make sure you're not standing in line when the time comes. An RSVP does not guarantee entry. Sometimes parties do sell out, so if you want to be sure you'll get in, it's best to grab a ticket in advance.
Entry is at the discretion of our door staff. Online purchases are limited to four tickets maximum per person. If tickets are sold out here, we always hold a good amount at the door. We will do our best to admit those without tickets but entrance is not guaranteed. Violence, non-consensual touching, racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, ageist or other discriminatory language, and leering are not allowed within our walls or in our backyard. If someone says or does something to make you feel uncomfortable while you’re here, let us know.
