Description
In case you missed it last year, Terminal Velocity is BACK for Movement Weekend 2024. Make your way over to Big Pink to close out Sunday night of Movement and start your morning with a bang. Returning for their second year in a row, LA’s Mija and DJ Topgun alongside a surprise DJ guest are ready to rock and roll for this years addition of Terminal Velocity. These three DJs will bring you a variety of refined sound and riveting energy, keeping you moving and grooving until close.
Mija’s identity as an artist is rooted in the fantastical and the independent. She is capable of striking the balance between futuristic textures and immediate emotional states, grounding even her most experimental sounds in vivid reality. She has her eyes on the horizon and her heart in the present. Her first EP "How To Measure The Distance Between Lovers" (supported by Pitchfork, The Fader, Vice) cements the arrival of a gravity-shifting talent, as Mija takes full control of her narrative and pushes her sound somewhere utterly unexpected yet totally necessary. Her follow up debut album “Desert Trash” expanded into new sonic reaches of electronic and organic songwriting. The future holds new audio and visual releases, always pushing her boundaries and artistic mediums
DJ Topgun is an artist producer from Cleveland, OH currently based in Los Angeles, CA. Topgun consistently performs all around the world as well with his solo electronic project as well as being in a band “ALEXSUCKS”.
Detroit-born BЯEE, co-founder of once notorious Bushwick club Hell Phone, DJ and event producer, travels through many stimulating genres to bring you a hand selected mix of perfectly danceable house & techno with unique sounds that showcase her passion for tasteful grooves. Bree is currently a Booker at Bushwick’s ‘The End,’ and this is her third year with Detroit’s ‘Terminal Velocity.’
